Description
Bought a gift card that was on sale at a Family Fare location branded under "Secure Spend". The product branded itself as a "Prepaid MasterCard". Shortly after purchasing the gift card, I activated it without a problem, but once I tried to use the $433.00 I put on the card with cash, I was unable to verify the card with any payment company (PayPal, Google Wallet, and the website from which I was trying to purchase an item from). There is first hand evidence of other people online who have encountered the same issue, and also suspected a scam.
