Description
They contact me through Microsoft teams to set up a text interview as William ******. I thought it was just a first stem AI interview. The after they review set up a 2nd interview by test the next day. But they sent me a contract by email. I the interview they asked for my full name, phone number and email address. They asked for financial institution or my bank I used. But I did not give them any details. Just said I use a federal credit union bank. They also asked for 2 personal references aka family or friends. I did not give them this info, I said I could later by email if they provided and email address and info. They send me a contract my email to sign and send back to them with a job offer to start on 09/27/25. I emailed them back to ask for more details and to ask them to call me to discuss. I did not hear from them, so I searched the web to locate them. I got suspicious and found the real website with a phone number for this company and call them. The owner said it was a scam and someone had set up the bogus website. He was a small business and has nothing to do this the job postings. I am not sure, but I think the posting was on Indeed for an Administrating Assistant and a Data Entry Clerk.
