I was called up through indeed.com to see if I was looking for a job, I said I was. The recruiter texted that someone would message me soon to let me know about the job. I spoke to a girl named Ana who explained she was an employee of this company called Megaphone. I asked for details and I looked up on the internet with little to no information I could find. I checked to see if it was a scam but I saw no one had filed anything about them. Ana assured me it was a legitimate business but I was still leery. She trained me on how to use the website and it seemed easy, paramid scheme but it seemed legit with a certified document from a secretary of California on their website. My trainer assured me it was a legit business over and over as I raised concerns along the training process. What had me concerned was when you submit your quota of product reviews daily, there at times was two orders attached. When these orders occured your work account balance through the product submissions through the day would put you in a negative number. Problem is you can't complete a set of orders to refresh for the next day unless you complete that one set. If your balance was negative you had to transfer money from your own personal account to bring the amount up to a positive. I unfortunately believed if I added some money that I could finish the work and be able to take some commission home. But then another set of orders popped up and I had to add $7200 of my money to make it positive and finish off the set of orders. No legitimate business should be asking for an employee to put their own money in their business. I foolishly believed them and have lost $1950, they said they would freeze my work account and punish me for not completing the sets of orders. I explained that I did not have that money nor would I put that kind of money out just to finish a job. I honestly believe this company does shady practises and does not provide enough information to employees during training to ensure they know exactly what they are getting into. They use crypto as a way of transfering funds between a person to their website. Please don't fall for this, no person should have to put money into a company just so they can get commission pay or move up in the ladder to obtain bigger pay outs.
