Description

A fake microsoft ad showed up on my computer screen when I started it up. I then knew it was not right so I tried to log in to my microsoft account to see if it was time to renew the subscription. However, I was locked out. So I searched microft to find a number to call. The site said microsoft lockout recovery. 206-424-1122 was the number. I called and the man talked me through some things and showed me how 38 hackers had my info. He said of course, go to the bank get the money and bitcoin it. He talked me through the setup of bitcoin and stayed on my phone during my going to the bank and bitcoin machine. He said the money will be put back into my checking account the next day. He was very convincing and assured me he was working for Microsoft. He also said he would call me back today between 10-10:30. I feel that I should not answer the phone if he does. He identified himself as Michael Scovetta. I told him it did not feel right to withdraw the money, but he assured me it would be returned to the account by the next day.
