Website accessed by a Popup ad when browsing. This is an Online clothing ‘store’ scam. This company’s - Grace & Jax - website claimed to be a high end NY City store “closing its doors after 21 years” - they advertised “guaranteed 100% refund within 30 days of ordering. The clothing was absolutely nothing like the quality shown in posted photos - terrible polyester and thin rip-able cotton(?). Huge size dress (XXXL?) when a medium Was ordered The webpage shows a photo of an appealing, attractive and well-dressed older couple as the owners: ‘we are closing shop sadly after 21 years of store operation in Manhattan)”). They have NO address, NO phone numbers. They only have a web page and support email address: [email protected]. When the guaranteed 100% refund is requested - they claim the warehouse is only located in China, and that it will cost the customer (you, me) more to return the goods ( $140.14 in my case) than the cost of the order and returns are full customer responsibility to China. They also say that chances are very high for return shipments to be ‘lost in transit’ in China, take weeks to complete, and if lost there will be no refund paid weeks from shipping returns. ultimately this sscammer refuses to actually send a return address in China. After many many requests and exchanges of email. They do offer finally to give just a 10% payback for the order (:14.00 in my case of $140.14 lost). It is done to stop the emails. They actually WILL NOT REFUND 10%, offer ANY RETURNS OR PROVIDE A CHINA RETURN ADDRESS OR PHONE NUMBER. HONESTLY, I’m just totally embarrassed. You think it will never be you. Here’s the web site.
