This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
I received a letter claiming that IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE is REQUESTED. That they will REVOKE ALLOCATED WAIVER AFTER 7 DAYS OF RECEIVING THIS NOTICE and it is a FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY ME. But it is unclear what this is about and what they want to notify me. The letter refers to our previous mortgage company and urges us to call them. There is a blue section at the bottom as if it was a check, but it is not. I never called and won't either as I understand it is a scam.
