Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

Calling the listed phone number resulted in a phone tree that included 1) book a flight, 2) change a flight, and 9) other options. The other options is what I needed; after responding accordingly, I was greeted with a message about a free offer to get a life alert button or a medicare plan. After waiting, a human-sounding voice answered and proceeded to quite forcefully not address my original inquiry about travel while asking repeatedly for information so that I would sign up for the life alert button. After calling a second time, I realized that the voice was a set of recorded responses or AI.
