Description

Scammer emailed me with a fake email from my business partner with an invoice attached showing that my business partner had agreed to purchase a service and asking me to transfer funds. I looked up the website which seems to be a legitimate business in Colorado although it may be fake as it had no phone number- only a place to enter a contact me email - I did submit an email letting them know I suspected this was fraud and they didn’t respond so now I’m wondering if the website was fraudulent as well. The scammer also sent a W9 which I wanted to upload but it seems I can only upload one attachment. He actually used two email addresses- the email came from [email protected] Here is the email: Hi, At ***** ******* request, I have attached a statement detailing the charges for coaching services, professional development, and ***** ******* premium membership. Please take a moment to review the document and process the payment when convenient.
