Description
My father had been searching for two 20' long shipping containers and a facebook ad appeared for Steel Path Containers. Their prices were the lowest he had seen. My father called the company and was talking with a salesman with his credit card in hand, ready to submit a 65% deposit of $2,145. Thankfully, that's when I walked into the living room and intervened. I told him to hold off and let me do some investigating. A few things did not add up. 1. The man he was speaking to, had a strong middle eastern accent and told us his name was Jake Bradley (a very English name). 2. While advertised as a 30 year old business on their website, no reviews could be found anywhere online. 3. A Google Maps search of their address led to a depot, which belongs to ConGlobal Industries. 4. The website was from 2025. 5. I called a well-known reputable legitimate container sales company and they reviewed the website and confirmed their prices were impossible and some of the container sizes listed did not even exist. If the deal is too good to be true, it most likely is!
