Monthly salary approx. 8650 (min) ? 688 bonus after 3-day paid probation Note [You must be 20 years old or older] Please send a message to this number: +16462046753 What Happened: I received this unsolicited message offering a very high-paying remote job with “WBD Global Streaming.” The message promised unrealistic daily and monthly pay, as well as a large bonus after a short probation period. It directed me to contact a U.S. number, but the original text came from an international number (Democratic Republic of Congo code +243). After researching, I found that Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has posted official warnings about fake recruitment scams. The job title “YouTube Content Promotion Assistant” does not appear on their official careers page. I also found multiple BBB Scam Tracker reports and Reddit discussions describing nearly identical scams. Why I Believe This Is a Scam: • The company name and job details are inconsistent with WBD’s official job postings. • The pay offered is extremely unrealistic for the described duties. • It requests communication through WhatsApp/phone numbers rather than official corporate email or job portals. • Similar scams have been widely reported under the name “WBD Global Streaming.”
