This online store posed as a Toronto store closing downAfter twenty years of business to spend time with the family. It was offering 80% discounts to thank loyal customers. The clothing was elegant high quality with a lot of cashmere. As shown on the website. I realized it was a scam after looking online and seeing a lot of negative reviews. The company has sent me half of my order. And the products were incredibly cheap and not as promised. For example, items that were supposed to be cashmere were actually ninety five percent polyester. Even at the sale price, they would have been highly overpriced for the quality. When I said I wanted to send them back they gave me an address in china to ship the items to warning me then, I would be responsible for all expenses and that the shipping process could be quite dangerous. And could damage the goods. They claimed that ninety five percent of their customers took their offer for a ten percent refund and a twenty percent coupon for further items. When I discussed it with visa, we agreed that they had pretty much covered themselves for any liability. By offering an avenue to send items back they were forcing me to go through that process if I wanted a full refund. Of course, they also warned that it would take 4 to 5 weeks if the parcel arrived, and if it wasn't damaged. In light of that, the visa rep and myself concluded that I would likely see nothing from a return process. And that I should probably accept their ten percent offer, which they termed a refund, but which was not. This company is very sophisticated. They've covered all the bases so that they can't get into trouble while sending out very cheap substitutes for the clothing they offer online.I would advise anyone to stay away from these people.
