Description

Purchased online a supposed Steam Ceramic flat iron based upon a detailed, convincing video professional demonstration. I had to have this remarkable hair flat iron after seeing so many believable videos on Pinterest. The appliance took a long time to be delivered for upon tracking this item; it finally arrived from China. Really? Upon opening the package for I was so anxious to see if it really works like I witnessed in the company's video. It wasn't anything like described. The invoice describes this flat iron by a totally different name, "RamoraSleek™ — Effortless Glassy Hair That Dazzles Instantly × 1 Black / US"; however, the box said simply "Anion straight hair is Professional production, Hair salon products shine" with an Asian female model's face on the box, on both sides of box. Can't see no hair now; just 2 vang like hairs peeking from under a hat or scarf. Unbelievable already. Well this flat iron would not power on even after several attempts. Anxious to get this thing going somehow, for I paid $40.00 of my hard earned money; I went back and tried to power the iron on again after depressing it several times again; it finally came on yet even at the highest temperature, the iron only got warm. I can't do anything with a warm flat iron and/too there are no instructions enclosed within the box or printed on the outside of the box. This is an electrical appliance; for safety purposes the company should ensure that any product sold as an electrical plug-in appliance that could possibly cause electrical shock, harm or cause fire if misused, if one failed to read and follow instructions, etc. should surely have a small phamplet or something in writing for valuable customers and the general public to read before handling and using such an electrical appliance, the company should insist that such items marketed through them, by them, etc. enclose instructions for the purchaser to read carefully all precautions and information about proper maintenance on this fancy item that one has decided to own. They should want to avoid lawsuits or possible liability. Arvilaro's response to that was that customer are supposed to download digital instructions for most of their products. Well that is ridiculous when one thinks they are getting this great item and end up with something totally different and cheaply manufactured. The company should devulge such product information about the mysterious instructions before purchase. I can't even give this knock-off flat iron to the one person I purchased this for who thought would love this steam flat iron that is supposed to be so "EFFORTLESS" when it's everything but that. I can't present this as a legitimate gift that's like no other flat iron you've seen when there aren't even instructions enclosed with this electrical appliance? Of course I want to return this item for a full refund because I was ripped off. The power doesn't even come on at all for me to at least try to give this item a second chance; yet, why would I even think that when the product already showed me that it can only get warm even at the highest temperature. And by the way where are the other functions that are supposed to come with this flat iron. Where is that see thru compartment that holds the water for this "STEAM" that the company sold me on. Now since I complained about this misrepresentation and false advertisement of marketed hair flat irons Arvilaro is selling; I've been receiving unsolicited cell and home phone calls and voicemails about a large loan I never inquired about or have a need to want. I don't try to get myself involved in any of that stuff and it's strange that these calls with the same script about a loan to press this any that and that they have been trying to get in contact with me, and the telephone numbers are all different numbers constantly. This never happened before. The item too took a very long time to come and although the outside return address on the received box says it came from New York, I traced the package and the tracking confirms this knock-off came from China. The company's website says nothing about mdse being shipped from China. Now that I am insulted and robbed the company will only allow me to return the mdse back to China at my expense mind you when the company is expecting the customer to eat the cost of a rtrn on defective and misrepresented falsely advertised mdse. It's horrible and I should have been smarter and purchased such a flat iron through ******. ****** allows a potential buyer to research more than a demonstration and will always honor a return on mdse regardless of the circumstances as long as the item wasn't used. Well I would have to have a warmer- hot flat iron that doesn't power out completely and too with instructions for proper use before I could classify this returnable flat iron as used. I do not trust this company through the mail or any kind of communication, especially now that they have some of my personal information namely my home address, mailing address, telephone numbers and my credit card information. Do not do business with them and I believe they are marketing similar items to mislead potential buyers through another company under, "Alden & Archer" and their customer support team and email responses are the exact same nonsense, tone and unprofessionalism.
