On September 18, 2025, I ordered a dress from My Choice, advertised as a premium-quality product. What I received on September 24 was poorly made, misrepresented, and not wearable. The dress had numerous issues: 1. The zipper and neckline did not align, making it fit awkwardly and incorrectly. 2. The material felt like cheap costume fabric, not the “premium fabric” that was advertised. 3. The sizing was completely inaccurate. 4. There was a visible mark across the chest, making the dress look defective. Upon further inspection, I realized it was likely a knockoff of a Mac Duggal dress, but with a completely different cut, poor construction, and clearly deceptive presentation. I immediately contacted the company, and after back-and-forth emails (over 20 messages exchanged), they first insisted nothing was wrong with the dress, then later offered a 10% refund, which I declined. I made it clear I would not return the item due to their unfair policy requiring international return shipping to China (approx. $30), which was not disclosed clearly at purchase. Their responses were repetitive, dismissive, and failed to acknowledge the product's quality issues. After exhausting all options, I filed a credit card dispute to recover my funds. Desired Resolution: I am requesting a full refund for the defective and misrepresented item. I am also asking the BBB to investigate My Choice for false advertising, misleading product listings, and an unreasonable return policy designed to deter customers from returning substandard items.
