Was shopping online to purchase a Scott's brand drop spreader for fertilizing my yard. One of the hits was from Celiadias.com, which if you go to their website falls under the genre of selling "antiques". Regardless, I made the purchase with a credit card for the amount of $54.40. Shortly after the purchase was complete, I received an email from [email protected] telling me I authorized a $54.40 payment to "Ricky Blaney". That was followed by a second email from PayPal indicating my "new" total was now $62.00, which of course I did not authorize. Never did I receive an email from Celiadias confirming my purchase. This was all starting to sound suspicious, so I attempted to contact by email and phone. My email immediately returned "undeliverable" and no one answered the phone. I was sent to voicemail, which would not allow me to leave a message. My next step was to dispute the transaction with my credit card company, however I couldn't dispute it until it moved from "pending" to "cleared". Once it cleared a few days later, I initiated the dispute. However, that process became a problem in itself. Long story short, it was finalized yesterday in my favor with me (eventually) receiving the $62.00 credit. "Ricky Blaney" and Celiadias is NOT to be trusted. Through information I received from my credit card company, "Rickey Blaney" is an alias out of China. His email address is [email protected]. A toll-free number for Ricky Blaney (888-221-1161) shows up on Whitepages.com as a "High Spam Risk". An online search for reviews on "Jacket JewayLLC" (listed on the Celiadias website) shows a 2.3 stars out of 5, suggesting trust and poor customer trust issues. I believe Celiadias is just a front for "Ricky Blaney's" scamming business and should be avoided at all costs. And finally as of today, 14 days after my initial purchase, I have still not received any confirmation of the product I purchased, nor the product itself!
