Description
Email was listed as L.L.Bean, offering clearance discounts. I did not check the actual email address -- my mistake. It was "[email protected]". It had a link where I could select items to purchase which all looked like legitimate LL Bean products. There were no obvious misspellings or awkwardly phrased instructions which would make you suspicious, although as I look back at it there is a space missing after a period and the final message at the end is awkwardly phrased (see below). When I click the button to review my order I get this message: This site can’t provide a secure connection www.llbseasonsale.com sent an invalid response. Try running Windows Network Diagnostics. ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR I am unable to contact them, and I placed the order almost two months ago. At the end of the confirmation email there is this message, which I now notice is awkwardly phrased: "If you have any questions, reply to this email contact us at [email protected]." I have not tried this -- I want no more contact with them!
