Originally posted as a job on Facebook, I filled out a job application form on google sheets. Then a different person emailed me informing me "The person in charge" was going to contact me on WhatsApp. A different person then messaged me and told me I'd be reviewing AirBnB posts to ensure their quality and would get a high payout for this remote work. After getting me to install ANOTHER chat program (Telegram) they had me log into a fake Inspirato website and had to complete "training". I was put in a fake group chat with other fake employees who talked about how much they were getting paid for little work. The scam involves you "reviewing" postings and if you review a luxury posting you make more money, but it makes your paycheck goes into the negative values. Then you have to talk to a fake customer service chat and are encouraged to create a crypto account to link to your employee account. Then you're coaxed into making payments to a crypto wallet in order to get MORE money for your paycheck. Keep in mind this process had no interview, no reviewing a resume, nothing. Very much "too good to be true" across the board. Also, scammer makes a LOT of spelling and grammar errors whenever they go off-script. Also while the scammer never revealed where they were, it seemed like they were in North America on the EST time zone.
