I saw an ad on Facebook that a jewelry store was closing down and they were deeply discounting their remaining inventory. I clicked the link in the post that took me to the Matilda & Milo Jewels website: https://matildamilojewels.com. I ordered & paid for a necklace with my credit card. The item that they sent was a poor imitation the necklace I ordered. I emailed Matilda & Milo Jewels at: [email protected], enclosed a photo of the necklace ordered and a photo of the necklace I received. I told them if the one I ordered was unavailable, I’d like to return it for a full refund. Their response was: "We know that returning an item can often be stressful and time-consuming. To help save you the hassle of shipping the items back, we’d like to offer you a 20% refund, and you can keep the products. This way, you receive compensation without the need to go through the return process. If you’d still prefer to return the items instead, we’ll be glad to provide you with a full refund once we receive the products back. Please use the following return address: Contact Name: Wang Maoqin, Lane 1177, Jianlan Road, Meixu Street, Yinzhou District, Ningbo, Zip Code: 315100, Zhejiang, China Tel: +86 15314571683 Once you’ve shipped the package, please share the tracking number with us so we can monitor its progress and issue your refund promptly. Please let us know which option works best for you, and we’ll take care of it right away. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and we want to make sure you feel taken care of. Warm regards, Sheena Customer Support Team, Matilda & Milo Jewels" I was about to send the item back when I saw the scam alert put out by the BBB. It was going to cost me over $19 to sent it to China . The address on the package I received was: 1080 SE 5TH ST STE 300 HIALEAH FL 33010-5791, but the website said: "All returns must be shipped to our international fulfillment center. Returns sent to local or domestic sorting centers will not be accepted." There is no physical address is listed on the website https://matildamilojewels.com WHAT A SCAM!! I'll be contacting my credit card company!
