I was looking at tik tok to find inspiration for outfits for the winter time when I came across a video of a girl wearing a two piece pink sweat set. She had tagged the clothing brand in her caption and I went to the clothing brands tik tok account to see what type of clothing they sold and to see if I could purchase the same outfit as her from them. In Afterthesaints tik tok bio, they had a link to their website where they sell their clothing brand. I scrolled until I found the same sweat set that the girl in the tik tok was wearing and I clicked on it to purchase it. Before I purchased it I wanted to see if afterthesaints was a real brand, so I went to their Instagram. They have many followers and often collab with popular people from tik tok, so they seemed trustworthy. The website seemed like it was made decently but I knew I was about to purchase something from a smaller business. After typing in my information like my address, full name, credit card information, I hit purchase. Later, all I got was an email that said “thank you for shopping with us, be ready for your order in 7-8 days”. I never received an order confirmation with a tracking number. So I became skeptical and did more research on the clothing brand. In their comment sections on their social media, everyone was saying they never received their order. Someone has been waiting for a year for their order. That is when I realized it was a scam and they will take your money and never actually send you the items you purchased. I thought at first since they are a small business that it was normal for things to take a while to be delivered but when I scrolled far enough down in their comment section, that is where I saw that someone had said they never received their package and placed their order a year ago. This so called business posts content on their story showing their followers and customers that they are shipping out their orders but nobody is ever receiving them. The owner of the account has deleted multiple comments off of their recent post and I know this because I have been checking the comment section to see what people are saying because I’m worried. I need my $140 back. I thought this was a brand I could trust and this is my first time ever shopping from instagram so I did not know what to expect. I have more evidence to share showing that hundreds and hundreds of people are not receiving their orders but I could only insert one photo. I’m not sure where they are located in but I think it may be New Jersey or New York. The phone number entered is mine because theirs is not listed
