Received text message from "Aly Jake" about being impressed by resume for remote Data Entry Clerk. Was given detail to message "head of HR" on Microsoft Teams using reference code JK-00147. A semi-decent "chat interview" was conducted, no outright personal information was exchanged and then the next day a follow up "chat meeting" was held. It all felt off from the beginning especially since a formal interview was never scheduled but, curiosity made me want to see how deep this would go. "Head of HR" gave information regarding the position, asked for my full name and email address. She stated an email with a formal offer along with an e-check were going to be sent. Once mention of all the "home office equipment" I would need to purchase with the e-check was discussed it became even more blatantly obvious that this was an outright scam. Replied back and told them as such that I was uncomfortable with this exchange and found it inappropriate to put it lightly. Did not receive a reply back after that.
