Description
Contacted via UpWork then via email about a potential job. Got hired immediately, signed a fake looking contract. Then they sent me a $3,900 check to buy a printer and a macbook from one of their ‘vendors’. I cashed the check then realized what happened before any money was made available thankfully. Check is fraudulent, they will ask to send part of what’s available before the check bounces back and you will be left responsible for paying the bank back.
