I received the email today addressed to my deceased husband, Robert Spaulding. My name is Jane Spaulding, I am uploading my scan of the document. First, this was enclosed in an envelope that clearly showed the Final Notice part and saying it was secured by Quicken Loans. I have since discovered that Rocket Mortgage, formerly Quicken Loan is in no way affiliated with this company. From the apperance it seems that I am in default on a loan but I have no current loan with Quicken; our loan is through Rocket Mortgage. Also, I have never owned a home warranty through Rocket Mortgage. Obviously, this company has been able to access information that is concerning, though. I was very upset so I called them to confront them. The agent (male) would not let me talk and when I said I was just trying to verify what they were saying in the letter he became hostile. I returned with some frustration and hostility of my own. By this time I was being treated like a total idiot by him. Dispickable. He hung up on me when I demanded he let me speak. I called back, this time getting another individual. I explained again who I am and what I wanted to talk about, up until then this man was amicable, but when I said I wanted to address points in the letter, he became hostile and again, I was not allowed to speak. he said what I had to say was unimportant. This was several minutes into a very irritating conversation. I am no stranger to the F word, but I usually try to keep things civil, but I was beyond civility by this time and asked to be able to f---ing speak. Both times I called I started by identifying myself, Jane Spaulding and explaining that Robert Spaulding was my husband but he had passed away in 2024. I mention this because of what this man said to me next. He screamed at me and said that my husband probably died to get away from me. I hung up at this point and went to chat with Rocket Mortgage where I was told that this letter is in no way connected with them. I would love to see this scam operation shut down. Please update me on progress.
