Description
Newly deeded property (to myself from father)…received a “recorded deed notice” designed to appear official, as if it were a property tax notice with $128.00 due. Luckily, I searched BBB before calling to pay for this unnecessary scam. Info they claimed “provides evidence that the property @ (address) was transferred and/or, has interest to” me is actually my father’s current address, home with year built, and etc, and was never connected to the parcel on which he lives. Very misleading “notice” and could easily cause people to lose money.
