Description
The scammer calls my phone. The call goes to voicemail immediately. I get a recorded message stating this is Heather Newman and I work for the center for tax mediation and Resolution Services and they give a direct line 202-595-8419, then they go on how you are at risk and how they can help and use key scammer words such as Time sensitive and NOW to make it feel urgent. Then the person sounds calming on how they will guide you through the steps and then make it sound like if this call reached you in error to call the number and dial 2 to remove yourself from the list. DO NOT CALL this number at all
