This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Saw a Facebook post with an offer to purchase a stroller for $9.99 with what seemed to be viable pictures of consumers that received the stroller. Initiated one $9.99 payment but was charged for two $9.99 payments along with four more - two $27 and two $18 transactions within 2 weeks of initial payment. I never received a confirmation email or the purchased item.
