Description
I was scammed in late July by a fake at-homeclosing.com that replicated the At Home site and had a going-out-of-business sale. I made three orders, and my mother made one. One of my orders was never sent via email and was only visible on the fake website. Once I noticed the charges on my credit card were different than the order information, I immediately realized I had been scammed. I went to the website and the phone number listed on the site had been disconnected. I contacted my credit card company to report the suspicious charges. I ordered from at-homeclosing.com) and I only saw two charges and didn’t recognize the company name and the charges were identical and did not match any orders I purchased on the fake At Home website. Deguaizhml6 XX - 76.78 Deguaizhml6 XX - 76.78 On August 4th there was an additional charge from Deguaizhml6 XX - 82.49 again not matching anything on the order receipts i was given. After I launched the complaint the website disappeared and the email addresses I was using for customerservice looked to be from [email protected] but came from [email protected]. I worked on a dispute via my bank and during that time the ‘tracking information’ kept being sent and i was told it was on its way. My local post office said that 17track.net has been implicated in other types of scams and that the information and tracking numbers I was given were fake.
