The school where I work (located in the Toledo, OH area) was approached by Daisy Bender through an email offering a Yamaha baby grand piano for free. The piano was her late husband's and she didn't feel right selling it. The email she used was [email protected]. After I contacted her, she stated that she was moving to France in two weeks and would like to finalize everything before she left. The piano was being stored in a climate safe storage unit in Little Rock, Arkansas. She gave me the name of the moving company, Metro GlobalLink Logistics & Freight Forwarding. She also shared that she was having some minor surgery in a couple days but would release the piano to me and would let the movers know. I never initiated contact with the moving company. I was contacted by the moving company through the following email, [email protected]. I was provided a quote for moving the piano to our home. The quote was as follows: $3,100 (3 day delivery + Setup), $2,655 (7 day delivery + Setup), $2,280 (14 day delivery + Setup), and $1,465 (21 day delivery + Setup). We had some questions for the moving company and so far have not received answers. We did not set up a delivery or give any payment information. No phone numbers were shared for either Daisy Bender or Metro Global.
