The company, ISSUU, which in July 2024 was sold to the Italian technology company Bending Spoons, raised their rate by more than $2000 year over year without ever informing me of such an exorbitant rate hike. I would never, and did not ever, agree to and approve such a crazy price hike. I tried to cancel and get a refund as soon as I saw this charge in my email and got an AI-generated email in response (the company no longer has human customer service, only AI, it says this as well in the support email) and was told I need to issue a refund through their site but conveniently for them (rigged to make it impossible to get a refund) the site generated an error when I tried to do the refund through their site. As there is no way to get this corrected, the company provides no customer support phone number and the website and email is completely managed by AI that only says you can get a refund through the site, the entire thing is rigged to steal your money. Their own website and AI email response says I have the right to a full refund within 60 days of invoice. But the whole thing is rigged so that there is no way for the company to fulfill a refund request. I can provide documentation for everything stated here.
