Description
Received phone call from someone claiming to be from the College Board regarding my son's request for SAT Prep books, and flash drive. Caller had my son's name, and address. He was very personable, even shared that he had 3 sons of his own. He explained that material would be mailed out and should be returned in 30 days. He then asked for credit card information in the event material wasn't returned. He said card would be charged $****** and would be credited once material was returned. I admittedly gave him credit card info. He processed the card and told me it declined; he then read back credit card info to confirm and told me not to worry that he would attempt to charge the card again later in the day. Something felt off, so I called my bank to report the suspected fraud and cancel my card information. The attempt was made under Academic ENRL
