From there I got a text message stating the following: Good morning, I hope you had a restful night. I’ve just sent you an email with your first assignment. Please confirm receipt of the email and also respond to my text message. Thank you. An envelope showed up at my doorstep (address was on resume). Shortly after I received another text: I’ve confirmed the payment has been delivered to your mailbox/front door. Please deposit it and send me a confirmation once it’s done. Thanks! Inside the envelope was a check from a flooring company in Texas for $3985. Return address on envelope was Hunter, Tennessee, but when I looked up the tracking, it was mailed from a location in Mississippi. I contacted the flooring company and this has been an ongoing issue.
