Description
Yesterday, Sept. 10, 2025, Yash Yadav (or impersonating Yash) contacted me on Indeed with a job of interest for a local company (see email attachment). We set up at time for a call and discussed the job at that time. I responded to the email with my resume and two references and agreed to the rate of pay. Next I received a call from his manager, Nilesh (Jain, or impersonating Nilesh Jain, I assume based on LinkedIn). Yash texted me that he had permission to submit to the client, UHS, but a valid DL was a requirement of the job. He advised that I didn't need to share PI, my name and expiration was fine. I erased the # and my DOB using my iphone, and texted him the picture. I got a text back that my application was short listed and I should let my references know that they would be contacted by an HR manager from UHS. I informed my references as my thoughts grew darker. Last night I went to the Veear website and tried calling the number listed. The number was NOT IN SERVICE. This morning, I contacted UHS and confirmed my fears were true. They do not use Veear for recruiting, and the HR Assistant POSITION DOES NOT EXIST. I ended all contact with these criminals and notified my references. Currently I'm looking into other resources who can help put a stop to this nightmare, when I should be concentrating on finding employment to support my family. Sad.
