My Gym USA had a labor day sale for an adjustable dumbbell set. The picture and main headlines referred to a set of dumbbells. They advertised 3-5 day free shipping. I placed an order and when twice that time passed with do dumbbells delivered, I went looking for my order confirmation emails. I saw multiple attempts to get me to purchase other items at a discounted price before they would process my order and got suspicious. I searched on line to see if they ate a legit business and the first thing came us said they were not legit. I searched for reviews outside their website and found bad reviews for not receiving anything or not receiving what was advertised. I saw in my order confirmation email they referenced one dumbbell, went back to the website and saw the false ads contradicting this. I followed their instructions to request to cancel and they immediately reached out with stalling tactics. They then sent me the one dumbbell and are still giving me the run around about returning it. We are supposed to have 30 days from order confirmation to cancel/refund. I see in other reviews that this is their practice and a common complaint. I saw a review where someone else bought a second dumbbell, but they sent one that didn’t match. They have directed me to purchase again, but I don’t trust them to send anymore money. I am disputing the charge with my bank at this point. I will send back the package if they send a return label.
