This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
A scammer, using the name “Frank Robinson,” fraudulently assumed the identity of Atlys Management and Consulting LLC to place large orders exceeding $10,000 with multiple small businesses. The scammer directed these orders to be shipped to Atlys’ legitimate business address. Once received, the scammer attempted to return the items and requested refunds to be wired to a fraudulent account. Between July and August, Atlys received three separate shipments of goods (each valued at over $10,000) from different businesses. All items were returned to the rightful companies. A police report was filed regarding this fraudulent activity. Unfortunately, due to the reputational harm caused and ongoing fraudulent use of its identity, Atlys Management and Consulting LLC permanently closed on September 9, 2025.
