Description
I received the following in email form from Lisa Tatum, HR Department, Konomashi Insurance: Hello, I trust that you are having a fantastic day. As the head of the HR department, I will be your guide throughout the application process and your initial month of employment. Please take the time to thoroughly review the enclosed documentation, as it covers frequently asked questions and includes important details about the company such as its web address, phone number, and EIN. Additionally, I encourage you to visit our website https://konomashi.com/ To register in the employee panel and gain access to your work assignments, please follow these steps: 1. Download the Agreement: The contract is attached to this email. Download, print, and fill out the necessary details. 2. Sign the Agreement: After filling in your details, sign the agreement. 3. Take a Selfie with Your ID and Agreement: • Place your ID in the area marked "put your ID here" on the agreement. • Hold both the filled and signed agreement along with your ID in one hand. • Take a selfie in the mirror using your other hand, ensuring both the agreement and your ID are clearly visible. 4. Upload the Agreement and Selfie: • Use the link https://client-dashboard.com/user/login.php to access the panel. • During the registration process, be sure to fill in the required fields and upload your selfie holding the signed agreement and ID. • The documents must be uploaded to the dashboard using the link provided above. Please do not email the documents, as emailed submissions will not be accepted. Once the information and picture are uploaded, they will be reviewed within 24 hours. After approval, you will receive access to the panel and can start working on your assignments. Further communication is done in the employee panel\dashboard. You should expect your first assignment within 5 to 10 business days from the day you signed up. If you have any questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. I "worked" for them processing shipments for a month and should have been paid via direct deposit $4,240.00. The morning that I was supposed to be paid, my access to their work portal was no longer valid. I have emailed their HR manager that handled the "hiring" process several times and have received no follow up communication. Their website is still active - https://konomashi.com/. The company appears to be legitimate and provided support as needed until it came time for them to pay me. I am also concerned that they have personal information including bank account information for direct deposit purposes.
