This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Ordered folding shelves from a QVC Discount store online, never received the items even though tracking information claimed it was delivered. Emails to customer service resulted in giving personal information, address and phone number, and told they will re-ship. I contacted QVC directly and confirmed they do not operate a discount store online and the confirmation number I had was not one QVC uses.
