I received an ad from this company on my cell phone from Stepbud with discounted clothing and accessories from JC Penney's. Everything I looked at appeared to be very good quality, so I thought I was working with a reputable company. My credit card was charged but I hadn't received my order, so I replied to the email address I had been given. They claimed my order was delivered and sent a link with track678.com that included the tracking information. When I did so, I got an alert that it was not secure, and I was unable to open it. I contacted them again and ask that they email me the tracking history. When they did, it was clear that there was no street address, only my town with the date and time of delivery. I responded and emphasized this information to them and the fact that I did not receive my order, and they had already been paid for it. They agreed they would escalate another duplicate order and assured me they would make sure it included my house number and street address. This order was to be delivered in 7 to 15 business days. When that time was running out, I contacted them again and they once again sent me the link to track my package. Again, the link was not secure, so I started checking into the shipping company and found this, as well as numerous other information that basically said the same thing: Is track678 a shipping company? The site provides package tracking IDs to online shoppers who have purchased goods through third-party seller sites. Customers can then supposedly track the progress of their order in transit using the provided tracker from track678.com. However, track678.com is not associated with any actual shipping companies.
