I ordered a bright pink dress online from Grayson and Porter, clothing retailer, in August 2025, for an upcoming spring wedding. An image of the dress was included in the online marketplace, The item shipped was a deep red/cranberry fall like color. I attempted to return it, wrong color, and instead was offered a 30% discount to keep the item and not return it. As this did not fix the issue I declined; subsequent back and forth emails resulted in them offering 40% discount and then 50%, or to ship at my own expense back to warehouse in Asia which they told me would cost $30 or more. There is fine print on their website about customer responible to ship to Asia, but no reference to cost. I asked for full refund and for them to pay for shipping as this was their complete mistake..not a gamble I took and ordered wrong size without measuring myself, etc.... Quality was also very poor, with no tags. I requested to speak to a manager 5 different times and kept getting apologies and the same offers. Not a reputable company and no satisfactory resolution. Since my experience, I have seen identical comments and experiences for others, on social media.
