I received a call regarding a job offer, for a logistics position with a company called EchoPort Couriers. A woman by the name of Veronica Young stated she wanted to interview me and asked me basic questions…Was I over the age of 18, Did I have a printer (to be able to print off shipping labels), was my physical address able to receive shipments, did I have a post office UPS and Fed Ex locations near me, and a few other basic questions I do not remember. She explained the job as I would receive shipments, check them for damage etc. print a new label and ship them again using whichever of the three above places. She stayed on the phone while she sent an email to me with a contract stating all the info I listed above, how payment would be made etc. it also asked for a copy of my drivers license (front and back) and a picture of me holding my license to show I was the one doing it. I did sign the contract while she explained that the accounting dept would follow up for other info on where to send the money and other info they need. I hung up and realized that there is a lot they can do with my drivers license info and pic. When I look up the info online it does not give the exact name of the company in the searches, if I look up the company that is listed as EchoPort Delivery LLC (which is what is the name on the contract) it is a company that was just started at the end of Aug. 2025. However it has a different address and is not the exact name Veronica Young stated or has listed on her email that she sent me which was EchoPort Couriers.
