An advertisement for a good deal on a dog fence came up on my Instagram. It said it "Best Summer Deal" but also used the "Wayfair" logo, so I thought it was through Wayfair. I received confirmation of the purchase and shipping with a tracking number via email (pdf of emails attached). The package was not delivered. The tracking info was sent via a website called Track718, which said the package was delivered 30 days later - but its wasn't. The email said the carrier was KHY, but I after looking it does not appear that this is a real mail carrier. I read on the internet that this tracking website is often used by scammers. On my bank statement, the cost was higher than what it said I was billed (around $82, instead of $61). I did not realize the price difference until I started looking into the scam after the package was not delivered. The website links for my order all go to "404 not found" pages, except this one: https://www.summerbestdeal.com/?spm=..404.header_1.1. There is a logo for Wayfair on the email, which also is a link that goes to a "404 not found" page. I emailed the provided address, and received an immediate response (too fast - literally seconds - with multiple paragraphs; so likely AI) that said to check with my neighbors and family. I emailed them back and have not heard another response. The name on my credit card statement for the charge is "ZOLIUJEOD 42-46 TAI LIN".
