Got a call from so called Spectrum to help with setting up my Xumo box that I was going to return anyways. She said her name was Erica and that the box was showing on my account as free (weird because I didn’t give access to my account or anything) so may as well use a free thing. Went through the whole process with her to set it up and accidentally clicked to activate the tv cable services. Then she told me to call spectrum billing department to make sure I wasn’t being charged for it. Very believable especially since she told me to call spectrum billing. Nothing has happened to my account yet but spectrum billing told me to keep an eye on it and my bank account as well.
