Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

I was emailed by their HR person, Sarah ******. I agreed that I wanted to move forward in the interview process to be their data-entry person. The job sounded PERFECT. She sent me an email with 2 links- one with an online assessment to see if I could do the job well and a second one called the employee form. Before clicking on these I asked AI if it was a legit company. It said it was no longer an active company. After doing more research, I discovered on Maryland’s Secretary of State’s website that the company is no longer active. The address they have listed on their website is the address for a different company as well. And their website doesn’t have a copyright date on it.
