Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

The company payment system on their website was not functioning properly. I was then sent multiple emails to attempt to pay for my 40ft container. Eventually I was able to have it charged to receive my container. I noticed the charge said nexusmassage instead of fenwaycontainers and I became worried I was being scammed. I contacted them but nobody answered except the lady named Katy on the live chat. I was informed that I would receive tracking information from the shiper soon. Eventually I received an email from Cargolay and after the receive date expired,I was then told that I needed to pay $400 in insurance money to receive my shipment and that the sender should had told me. After researching online I noticed that the cargolay company has been involved with many scams like this and the same experience was talked about. Also cargolay is not a legitimate company for logistics unfortunately. I am currently disputing the charges with my bank and reported this as fraud and am trying to have them procecuted.
