I ordered a hoodie and a pair of leather shoes from a company called Preston and Payton, offering a closure sale of up to 80% discounts on high-quality apparel. The products I received were not what their website advertises. I received confirmation of my order, but never received confirmation of shipping. The items arrived on time but did not match what I purchased. The hoodie was a thin, cheap fabric and the shoes were pleather and oversized. I sent them an email with pictures showing my items next to the items I ordered on their website and requesting a refund. They replied stating that they were the correct items for my order and offering for me to make an exchange, or proceed with a return. Despite claiming to be an American company, their only return address is in China, and according to their refund policy, the cost of shipping a return is on the customer. I recently discovered another nearly identical website, Charles & Nancy, which appears to be part of the same scam network.
