Description

I would like to report an unlicensed school that is taking advantage of people and knowingly operating an unlicensed school in Texas. The school is Trucker Certified, owner Oaty Scott. It operates in Amarillo, Borger, Pampa, and Plainview. I brought it to the attention of the owner when I found out. The owner refused to spend the money to become compliant with the law. He tells the students he is fully accredited. FMCSA requires schools to operate legally in in their state. The school is operating poorly, and the students are not being provided with the services they paid for. As an example, there is no road training because the trucks are unsafe and uninsured with expired tags. (I have pictures.) I repeatedly informed the owner of the situation, but once again he refuses to resolve the problem. He is continually taking money from new students ($2000 on average). He is telling non-English-speaking students that they can still get a CDL without linguistic issues. That really bothers me. The school's website guarantees passing the CDL exam on the first time. It also states a refund policy that is not true. He spends the funds and avoids/ ignores the calls and texts from students requesting refunds. This is not right and it's illegal.
