I sold a complete set of china on eBay for $350. I paid the extra insurance on 4 separate boxes. $6 x 4 = $24. Most of the china was broken and damaged during shipping. I filed a claim and PIP said they will only cover $110. That is not acceptable. The buyer deserves a total refund not a partial one. She needs the china for a wedding shower and now has to buy replacement pieces elsewhere. If you bought the china at replacements limited then it would cost $1400. ONE PLATE IS $70. https://www.replacements.com/china-franconia-krautheim-adelburg-dresden-flowers-dinner-plate/p/63679791 . I was expecting a total insurance payout of $350. It’s wrong to treat people unfairly like this. If I knew they were only going to cover a quarter of the value then I wouldn’t have paid for the extra insurance. I was scammed and screwed.
