Description

Phone call from "Kevin" stating he was from the Pain Management clinic. (I do have an referral and appointment pending at Sentera Pain Management Clinic.He explained that he was going to send me a back brace for my back pain,. I would only have to use this 15 to 30 minutes a day and/or when I was working around the house. He claimed that Medicare and Part D would cover the cost of this fully. He also got a lot of information from me about address, medical history or why I was having back pain .He also asked about my Social security number, which I gave him. (yes, I should not have done this) I became suspicious about this call, asked if my doctor ordered this for me. He said no, stated he was from a "company" and is calling Medicare patients about receiving back braces for pain and a Licensed Doctor from Virginia would sign off on the order. Also I would receive this back brace in 7 to 10 days bu UPS or Fedex. I got off the phone and had a very strong suspicion the this was not a legitimate call
