I received a text message from "Graham Org of PA" regarding a "Benefits Rep Position", wanting to schedule me for a Zoom interview on Wednesday, 8/27 at 11:30am. As I am actively looking for a job, I thought I might have applied online for this position and let them know that I could not interview on Wednesday, 8/27 and would rather they rescheduled to Thursday, 8/28. They told me there was no other availability. I needed to rearrange my schedule and asked how long the Zoom interview would be. They never answered my question but responded again, telling me there was no other availability. I asked them to send a Zoom invitation to my email address. I did not supply my email address to them as I presumed they already had it if they contacted me, which also made me presume that they had my resume. No response. After two more texts, I was very angry and let them know that I felt they were a scam organization, unjustly soliciting me for a position that I am not sure even existed. I then remembered that they had solicited me before. I went on the jobsites I usually apply for open jobs and there was nothing listed from this 'company' so I concluded they were indeed, a scam company and reported and blocked them online. I am also going to report them to the FTC and PA Attorney General for scamming me.
