I was searching for a flight ticket when Google suggested a website. I went to the site, conducted my search, and found a flight at a reasonable price. After entering all my information, including my credit card details, I soon received an email confirmation stating that my ticket was confirmed and I would receive my e-ticket shortly. The next day, I received a call from someone named Spencer Johnson, Ext: 436, from the Ticketing Executive Team at Farecrown, at +1-646-914-9821. This person told me my ticket was not confirmed and that I was on a standby list. He then changed his story, saying that my ticket was confirmed but the second person's ticket was not, and that if I wanted a confirmation, I would have to purchase a more expensive ticket. They also said they couldn't guarantee anything. I stated that I was not going to pay, and he said that JetBlue would contact me. Later that day, someone claiming to be from JetBlue contacted me, repeating that my ticket was not confirmed and that I would have to buy a more expensive ticket. They pressured me to make a purchase, stating that my spot would not be guaranteed otherwise. They also said that if I canceled, I would be charged a cancellation fee, and if I booked tickets directly with JetBlue, I would lose my current tickets. They then transferred me to another person pretending to be a manager. This person also insisted that I should buy a more expensive ticket. I refused, saying I would not pay more. The guy then said he had to go because I had spent too much of his time and that I needed to make a decision. I reiterated that I was not spending any more money. Since then, I have been trying to contact them, but I have not received any calls or answers. They are scammers who are trying to deceive people by posing as airline employees. I also contacted JetBlue directly, and they confirmed that they have no record of my information or ticket.
