Facebook ad for Faherty redirects to https://faherty-us.com (instead of https://fahertybrand.com/). Attempted to buy a shirt discounted to $63.40 (similar to prices offered at a sample sale) using my PayPal. Confirmation email was immediately suspicious--it came from "Customer Service Lisa" ([email protected]) with a contact email at the end of message ([email protected]). The PayPal transaction email states an authorized charge not for $63.40, but for ¥380,994 JPY, or $2,708.25 and lists the seller info as Jerome Pedrablanca ([email protected]). PayPal will not cancel a pending transaction, so I unlinked the account and backup account associated with the transaction from my PayPal until I can resolve. The attached file shows screenshot of order confirmation, order confirmation email, and PayPal transaction email.
