This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
via ad via facebook, this business, runclad.com aka glimmer goods, inc runs ads via facebook/social media for a module couch/sweepstakes, business then forwards you to a walmart survey, where it engages in misleading consumers into believing you will receive a couch for $9.98, upon further review, this business ads $4.98 on top of the $9.98 for delivery. No where in this survey/ad does it say you are apparently purchasing a 25 credit gift card to shop on this website, nowhere is it mentioned that this fee is non refundable, nowhere doesit mention a membership subscription billed every 2 weeks. Who charges a membership fee every two weeks? When cancelling this membership, it appears to be another scam with the dates being incorrect/outdated by 2 months. Via their website, consumers are entitled to a refund and cancellation upon policy, within a certain time frame, however, via chat, the fraudulent fee is non refundable and upon further correspondence, upon cancelling, they take 14 days to cancel, which should be effective immediately, which you may be subject to additional fees, depending on how fast they decide to process your refund. This business then states they do not run external ads via social media/not responsible for ads and are within legal rights to charge these fees. However, I never wanted a membership, never agreed to a membership, and there was absolutely nothing stating these fees were non refundable. I have receipts, screenshots, chats as verification to prove my allegations. I fear this company provided the expired cancellation etc, as another scheme to try and fraudulently possibly take more money from my cc in the future. This is very misleading, false advertising, and fraudulent/shady business practices, I cancelled the same day, and upon further review, this company is a scam according to the internet, has a low score, and is not to be trusted. Unfortunately, I failed to figure this out until it was too late. I am currently in the process of taking security measures to retrieve my money back guard my personal information. I will be notifying governing agencies, and filing complaints warning the public.
