Received a postal mail that looked like it's from my car dealer but it wasn't. The mail expressed urgency for expiration of warranty on a new car I just bought 3 months ago (and paid extra for extended warranty), which prompted me to call them. The person who picked up tried to sell me extra warranty on my new car but couldn't even explain why I'd it on a brand new car. Why do they have my name, address, and the exact car make and model I have?? They must have illegally stolen/bought personal information of new car owners in the Boston area, and made it vague for recipients to figure out it's a suspicious third party company trying to sell you something you don't need.
